Rachel Gaunt Counselling
Therapy that is shaped to suit you and your needs.
Welcome! My name is Rachel, and I am a BACP registered counsellor based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, offering online counselling to clients across the UK.
About me and my practice
I provide a supportive space for those who want to make sense of life’s challenges and move forward at their own pace, whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to talk things through with.
As an integrative counsellor, I place the therapeutic relationship at the heart of my work. I support adults with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and burnout, tailoring my approach to your individual needs in a warm, trusting space where you can move at your own pace.
Whether you're taking your first step into therapy or returning after previous counselling, you're welcome here. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space, informed by both professional training and lived experience. Online sessions allow you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
What to expect from me:
Therapy isn't about having all the answers or trying to 'fix' who you are. It's about creating space to explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and honesty. Together, we can make sense of difficult thoughts and emotions, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work towards meaningful, lasting change.
My role is to walk alongside you as you explore whatever feels important, offering support, challenge, and reflection in a way that helps you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and move towards the changes you want to make.
